crime Iowa Mother Charged in Toddler's Drowning Death 2024-12-08 An Iowa mother, Kayla B., was arrested on child endangerment and neglect charges after her 20-month-old son drowned in the bathtub in her apartment. Police say she fell asleep while the toddler was in the tub, and when she woke up, she found him unresponsive. The apartment was also found to be filled with spoiled food and trash.
