Crime Body Found in Des Moines River, Investigation Underway 2025-08-18 The Des Moines police are conducting a death investigation after a body was found in the Des Moines River Sunday night. Authorities responded to the Women of Achievement Bridge in downtown Des Moines after receiving a report of a body in the water.
