Joann, I don't think I could make it any easier (well, as easy as it can get under these current circumstances!) for you.

With painstaking care, I write to you today. Truth be told, I was going to let you navigate these upcoming two events on your own. And not out of my own selfish reasons of not wanting to help, but because I know how hesitant you've been lately. It's nearly impossible to help you these days. Believe me, I've tried!

I don't blame you for a thing. You've never been a fan of accepting help. You don't like the feeling of "owing" anyone anything. I can completely relate! But sometimes, situations snowball out of our control. It gets to a point where it's either get help or get steamrolled! That isn't a fate I want for you, Joann.
