Darlene Haage, a 94-year-old resident of Argyle, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at her home. She was born in Farmington and was married to Wilbur Haage, who preceded her in death in 2013. Darlene worked at Shaffer Pen as a lacquer utility operator for 26 years until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed taking care of her family, cooking, embroidering, and reading, especially the Bible. Darlene is survived by her daughter, granddaughter, grandson, seven great-grandchildren, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, twin sister, and several siblings. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, with burial in the Frazee Cemetery in Alexandria, Missouri.
