Carjacking suspect who allegedly stole car from Southeast Polk High School arrested in Illinois 2024-11-10

A central Iowa man who allegedly assaulted a Southeast Polk High School student and stole his car last month has been arrested in Illinois. Sack, 20, has been charged with first-degree robbery and third-degree attempted burglary for the incident Oct. 24 at Southeast Polk. He is currently in an Illinois county jail facing charges of attempted vehicular hijacking, possession of a stolen vehicle and aggravated fleeing, among others, for an incident on Oct. 25 when he allegedly attempted another carjacking in Fulton County, Illinois, then stole a car and led authorities on a chase.
