Authorities have ruled an early morning shooting in downtown Des Moines a double homicide after a second person died from gunshot wounds. A 29-year-old and a 34-year-old male were killed during a violent altercation that erupted around 2 a.m. Sunday near the Court Avenue entertainment district.
