Iowa Man Accused of Killing Ex-Girlfriend's Mother 2025-01-06S., 24, was taken into custody and accused of killing his ex-girlfriend's mother, R. Robison, 45, on Friday while she was helping her daughter move out of his home. S. allegedly shot R. Robison and her husband, T. Robison, 52, in the head with a 9 mm pistol. R. Robison died at a hospital, while it was unclear whether her husband was still in critical condition. The shooting was determined to be a domestic situation between S. and his ex-girlfriend, who had just broken up with him and was in the process of moving her belongings out of the home with her parents. One Dead, One Injured in Des Moines Shooting 2025-01-06An adult female was transported to the hospital with a gunshot injury and was in critical condition. An adult male was pronounced dead at the scene. The preliminary investigation indicates that it was a domestic-related situation, and there is not believed to be any ongoing danger to the neighborhood.
