Crime High-Speed Chase Leads to Charges for Intoxicated Driver 2025-06-16 An 18-year-old man, E. Torres, is facing several charges after leading the Iowa State Patrol on a high-speed chase on Saturday. Court records show Torres was driving 114 miles per hour on Interstate 35 in central Iowa. When the Iowa State Patrol tried to pull him over, Torres began passing vehicles on the shoulder of the interstate.
