Police located the children in Juneau County and later arrested Ryan Goad in the Madison area. He was charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide, aggravated battery, reckless injury, recklessly endangering safety, and disorderly conduct. crime Busy Year for Crime and Courts in Burlington, Iowa 2024-12-31 The Burlington, Iowa area saw a busy year for crime and court cases in 2024. Noteworthy sentencings included a West Burlington man convicted of stealing two homes, a former SCC women's basketball player sentenced for a shooting, and a Burlington woman sentenced for sexually exploiting a minor.
