Texas Man Arrested for Stalking WNBA Star Caitlin C. 2025-01-13A Texas man named Michael L. has been arrested and charged with stalking Caitlin C., a West Des Moines native and WNBA player for the Indiana Fever. L. allegedly sent a series of threatening and sexually explicit messages to C. on social media, and traveled from Texas to Indianapolis with the intent of being closer to her. L. was charged with stalking, a Level 5 Felony, which carries a sentencing range of 1-6 years and up to $10,000 in fines. Prosecutors have also filed an order banning L. from the venues where the Indiana Fever regularly plays.
